Junior Quality Control

Principal Accountabilities:
• Performs quality control tests/inspections on products, materials, etc. at various stages of the production process to ensure compliance with quality and reliability standards
• Adhere to personal safety practices that meet OSHA and FWC standards to ensure a safe environment for employees
• Visually inspecting parts for defects or damage
• Scan parts
• Weigh, measure product and verify that physical properties are within acceptable criteria
• Quality control workers record the results of their inspections through test reports.
• Use of hand and power tools
• Work from technical drawings, blue prints
• Advise technicians on technical or regulatory concerns
• Ensure that design intent is carried out and finished products conform to technical requirements
• Careful attention to quality requirements at each stage ensures that products perform as intended with reliability when the products are used

Education & Experience Required:
• Education: Minimum High School Diploma
• Experience: Minimum of two (2) years of industry experience preferred
• Composite Knowledge: Thorough knowledge of composite materials related manufacturing equipment and processes a plus
• Personal Skills:
o Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills
o Must be well organized and have the ability to multitask
o Attention to detail and good documentation practices
o Self-starter, results-oriented individual with ability to organize and analyze data
• Computer Skills: Proficient with MS Office products
• Math Skills: Knowledge of basic math and computer skills are important because measuring, calibrating, and calculating specifications are major parts of quality control testing
• Mechanical Skills: Must be able to use specialized tools and machinery when testing products
• Technical Skills: Must understand blueprints, technical documents, and manuals, ensuring that products and parts meet quality standards

Regular Hours of Work: Normally 7:00AM – 4:00PM, Mon-Fri; Weekends and Holidays as scheduled by Management.
